Hello, and welcome to Pete’s Pretty Good Ice Cream and Cafe! I’m Pete, the dog in the logo up there. I love ice cream so much that my family opened this shop, right here in Holden, Maine. If you haven’t tried our ice cream yet, you’re missing out. I think it’s the best around, and you can’t get it anywhere else but here! I love all the cool flavors that we have - ever heard of Chocolate Chili ice cream? Stop by and say ‘hello’ and I’ll give you a sample. You won’t forget it, I promise.

Equally awesome are our other flavors like Chocolate Whoopie Pie, Maine Blueberry Cheesecake, and Pete’s Tracks (can you say Peanut Butter Cups?). With over thirty flavors to choose from, you can’t go wrong. In the summer we hand-make our own waffle cones that make these great choices taste even better. We also have a newly remodeled indoor cafe where we serve amazing homestyle food that is made to order just for you! My personal favorites are the fresh omelets and blueberry pancakes served with real maple syrup for breakfast. At lunch I can’t resist the hand-battered fish sandwich that’s served on a grilled, buttered kaiser roll with crisp green leaf lettuce, fresh tomato and a side of our new homemade tartar sauce. With a bowl of our Almost Famous Chili on the side, you will not go away hungry!

Summer’s right around the corner and we are adding a new walk-up window, in addition to our indoor seating. In the meantime, come on in for some great food and ice cream. I know you’ll be glad you did. Like I always say, Eat More Pete’s...Because It Tastes Good!
